YouTube upload notifications

Thanks to the YouTube plugin, you can configure MEE6 to send a message into your server whenever a YouTube video is uploaded.


How it looks


This feature is particularly useful for if you are a YouTuber and would like to notify your Discord server members when you upload a video.


How to add a YouTuber to be notified


You will need MEE6 premium to be able to use the YouTube plugin.


Go to your Server Dashboard > Social Connectors > YouTube

After you enter the plugin, you can begin to search for the creator in the template provided.


Adding a channel to the YouTube plugin


Announcement configuration


  • 1 - Search for the YouTube channel you want to add
  • 2 - Edit the announcement notification MEE6 posts to your Discord server
  • 3 - Select the Discord channel where MEE6 should post the upload notification



By default, the announcement message mentions @everyone. You can change it to whatever you need.


You can also edit or delete any YouTube channel directly within the YouTube plugin configuration homepage.
