Music Plugin

MEE6 has a plugin to play cool music in your server in a very simple way. It only takes one command for the bot to join you in the voice channel and start your favourite music... and for the coolest of you, you can use your dashboard to manage everything without even opening Discord!

Play great music

There are a few commands you can use to play music:
!add followed by the name of a music or link will add the song you specified. It's even possible to add a radio station using it's source URL! In fact, any source URL may work if it does not require a login. Oh and searching by terms is YouTube only.
!play can be used either with or without search terms. If you use it with, it will works like the !add command, but if you don't specify any song MEE6 will join the voice channel and immediately start playing the queue.
!search is used to search for music based on keywords or name. MEE6 will offer you 10 different music choices based on what is most popular for the word you specified, and you just have to pick the corresponding number from the list to immediately add it to the queue!
!replay while you're listening to a song will put that song back to the beginning. Kind of like a !seek 0.

Pro-tip: With the !search command, if you provide several numbers in the response MEE6 will add them all. Now you can test different versions of the same song, isn't it super cool?

Moderate your voice channel

Some commands will be useful to manage MEE6 in your voice channel, so that your great music party stays great.
!join or !leave will ask MEE6 to respectively join and leave the voice channel. (The !join command will not automatically start the music, you have to use the !play command for that).
!skip is used by admins or roles you have as an allowed role, to skip to the next song in the queue without asking others to vote.
!clear-queue immediately and irreversibly deletes all music in the queue. This is useful if someone is having fun spamming commands to add loads of tracks.
!stop works like the !leave command, it just asks MEE6 to leave the current channel. Party is over.
!volume followed by a number between 0 and 200 changes the volume of the bot, between 0 and 200% of the default volume. Unlike the Discord button, this volume is the same for the whole server.

Keep control of what's going on

!np shows you the music currently playing, with a clickable link and even the current track position. Stay in control!
!pause pauses the music temporarily and !resume restarts it... pretty straightforward I guess.
!seek allows you to return to a specific point in the music, following the classic MM:SS (minutes and seconds) format. Keep your favourite parts handy.
!previous restarts the previous track. If you too think it was better before.

Some useful commands

Other commands

Other commands also exist in this plugin, here's what they do:
!vote-skip allows your members to vote to skip to the next song in the queue. You can manage the roles allowed to use it via your server's dashboard, but be aware that the number of votes required is at least half of the members connected to the voice channel.
!queue displays the music currently being played, as well as all upcoming music. And with clickable links, so you can see what it's all about on the internet.

Here are some examples of how does !queue and !vote-skip work:

Our cool Music Controller

The control panel, located in your dashboard, allows you to manage the music on your server from any web browser.
Here you will find:
The music currently being played and the selected voice channel
Buttons to pause, restart, or skip the track
A list of upcoming music
An easy way to add songs from YouTube
One button to play your current playlist in loop, another one to keep MEE6 in your channel even when everyone is gone (24/7 mode)
